MRB Solutions was founded in 2000 by Michael Broglie. After thirty years working in and supervising electrical, plumbing and mechanical projects for the commercial constructions industry, Mr. Broglie began a residential business to meet the demands of the rapidly growing home improvement market. Initially, MRB focused on home improvement and renovation, primarily developing custom designed and engineered solutions to unique situations for an exclusive clientelle interested in high-end results. From 2000 until 2007, MRB Solutions expanded rapidly, solely through word-of mouth recommendations from clients.
In 2007, the company opened two additional divisions:
MRB Aquatic speciallizing in aeration systems for pond and lake management--we work in partnership with Virginia-based DSC Aquatic Solutions to cover the Maryland territory.
MRB Solar specializing in the installation of solar-thermal systems for heating water, radiant floors, pools and spas for residential and commercial applications.
EXPERIENCE
The company founder, Michael Broglie, brings extensive experience in the building trades to MRB Solutions. Just some of his experiences during more than 30 years in the industry include:
Supervisor of commercial general contracting, electrical, and mechanical construction, primarily steamfitting, hot water heating and chill water piping for various projects in the Washington, D.C. area including, but not limited to:
- Supervising mechanical and electrical contracts for new laboraty building for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland. (as a construction supervisor for Twigg Corporation and Railworks Corporation respectively.)
- HVAC expansion at U.S. Secret Service 14 th St., N.W., new 5 th floor wing at Washington Hospital Center (For PBM Mechanical)
- HVAC renovation at BWI and other steam, hot water heating, and chill water piping systems (For Twigg Corporation).
Vice-president of AJ-Marine, a marine construction company in which Mr. Broglie worked on underwater bridge repair, commercial pier and bulkhead construction.
Co-owner of Broglie & Green Electrical Construction in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
