Incentives for Solar Thermal


Maryland State Department of Energy provides 30% (up to $3,000) of the complete costs of a solar thermal system for your home or business. There is currently a waiting list for these funds. For more information, visit the Maryland Energy Administration's solar incentive page:

Federal tax incentives for eligible solar hot water systems placed in service after January 1, 2009 provide a tax credit of 30% of the total installed costs.
